Rookies

 Next Generation of Archers Talent

The rookie class of 2022 for the Archers Lacrosse Club might not have had the rookie of the year.  However they did have perfect pieces for their club and system. The number four pick in the 2022 draft the Archers selected Matt Moore from Virginia. Moore is a midfielder who racked up a very impressive rookie campaign earning himself 20 points, 15 goal and 5 assists in 10 regular season games. Averaging two points a game as a midfielder is no easy feat especially playing against some of the best defenders in the world. From his spectacular regular season he earned himself consistent playing time in the playoffs. Moore would score three goals and have one assist in two games being a crucial part of the Archers squad.

Connor DiSimone can be considered the steal of the 2022 class. The undrafted rookie would go on to start the first five games of the season at attack. He was filling all star Grant Ament's shoes as he was hurt the first half of the season. In his absence Connor was able to make a name for himself bagging 12 points, 7 goals and 5 assists in 5 games. After these 5 games Ament would come back and Connor wouldn't play another game, however he proved himself to be a great asset that has a high potential for the future.
